MISSION
The Forum for the Regulation of a Social Europe aims to bring together lawyers, jurists, practitioners and academics specialising in social law, in a spirit of tolerance and openness, and committed to cultural and intellectual pluralism.
It seeks to contribute to the building of a Europe that is fully committed to its rich cultural heritage and fundamental values. It aims to foster reflection on a European identity and more specifically how it is shaped by the law.
The activities of RegES aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of social law by examining different jurisdictions and legal analyses.
It adheres to the concept of European integration, where law is regarded as an essential tool for regulating social relations and improving harmonisation between economic and social development.
The Forum is committed to the respect of human rights and international standards in the study and practice of European law. It participates in strengthening dialogue and collaboration between the various economic and social actors.
Conscious of the diversity of different legal cultures, RegES has the ambition of becoming a platform for information and dialogue between lawyers, legal practitioners and academics from various EU Member States.
Synergy with other groups is essential for achieving the mission of RegES. These synergies can be established with university centres and networks, social partners, law firms, NGOs, etc.
